Warranty

At Woodshala, we are dedicated to providing safe delivery and the highest quality products as showcased on our website. Our warranty policy is designed to ensure your complete satisfaction and to address any issues that may arise.

1. Damage During Transit

We strive to achieve 98% safe delivery without any damage, thanks to our rigorous testing and quality assurance processes. However, in the unlikely event that your product arrives damaged, please follow these steps:

  • Contact us within 72 hours of delivery.
  • Share photos of the damaged product and packaging with our team.

Our team will inspect the damage and decide on the necessary resolution. If the damage can be repaired locally with the help of a carpenter, we will reimburse the genuine repair expenses. For more severe damages, we will replace the product.

For minor damages like a broken mirror or glass or balancing issues, we request you to repair these with the help of a local carpenter, and we will reimburse the genuine expenses.

2. Manufacturing Defects

We offer a 1-year manufacturing warranty on furniture products and the foam used in upholstery. Please note that the fabric is not covered under this warranty.

We continuously improve our offerings and quality through experience and customer feedback. Despite our stringent quality checks, if a manufacturing defect is identified, we will address it promptly under this warranty.

Please Note: Wear and tear, scratches, cuts, or damage due to rough environmental conditions are not covered under the warranty.

3. Seasoned Wood Assurance

The wood used in our products is hand-selected and quality-tested to ensure compliance with sustainability and environmental regulations. We guarantee that our wood is termite-proof.

Warranty Exclusions

The following are not covered under our warranty:

  • Normal wear and tear over prolonged use.
  • Small cuts, scratches, or damages due to incorrect cleaning methods or impacts/accidents.
  • Damage caused by incorrect installation/assembly by the customer.
  • Products stored, assembled, installed incorrectly, used inappropriately, or cleaned with incorrect methods/products (e.g., upholstery exposed to direct sunlight will lighten over time).
  • Cracks due to displacement of the product.
  • Wood decay due to consistent water exposure.
  • Seasonal wood contraction and expansion.
  • Natural wood characteristics like joint lines or wood grains.
  • Variations in furniture dimensions up to 2 inches.
  • Unevenness up to 5mm due to floor/surface level variations.
  • Upholstery fabrics (seat covers) are not covered; the warranty applies to the frame and mechanisms only.
  • Non-standard dry-cleaning procedures or the use of harsh chemicals.
  • Relocating the product from its original delivery location will terminate the warranty.
  • Any third-party installations, assemblies, or repairs not authorized by Woodshala will void the warranty.

Maintaining Your Warranty

To maintain your warranty coverage, ensure that all installations, assemblies, and repairs are conducted by approved Woodshala professionals. Any unauthorized actions will nullify the warranty.
